Is Your Site Suitable for a Drone Show? A Feasibility Checklist
Launch area, viewing areas, airspace, obstacles and access — the site characteristics providers check before quoting.
Launch area
Providers need a secured, level launch area separated from the audience. Its size depends on the fleet — larger fleets need more room for the launch grid and crew.
Viewing areas and separation
The show is designed for the main viewing direction. Mark where the audience will be and how far it is from the launch and show areas.
Airspace and obstacles
Nearby airports, heliports, stadium restrictions and temporary flight restrictions all affect feasibility. So do power lines, towers, tall buildings and trees. Share the exact address so providers can check.
Access, power and security
Crew need vehicle access, somewhere to charge batteries and a way to keep the launch area clear on the night. Note these in the brief — they are planning items, not platform guarantees.
