How to Hire a Construction Drone Provider
A practical guide to choosing the right drone partner for progress monitoring, earthworks, BIM comparison and inspections.
Booking a drone light show works best with a clear brief: the event, the site, the date and backup date, the audience, the creative you want and your budget — then send every provider the same brief.
1. Describe the event and date
State the event type (municipal, corporate, sports, festival, wedding, theme park), the location, the show date and a backup date, and whether it is outdoors or indoors.
2. Describe the site and audience
Share the address, the launch area you have in mind, the main viewing area and the expected audience size. Providers use this to check airspace and feasibility.
3. Describe the creative
Say what you want the sky to show — logos, text, 3D animation, a narrative, music sync or pyro effects — and the fleet size if you know it (or “unsure”).
4. Check evidence and insurance
Ask for show portfolios, the remote pilot certificate, the §107.35 waiver with dates, an insurance certificate at your venue’s required limit and the weather and cancellation policy.
5. Compare on the same brief
Use our request form so every provider receives identical requirements, then compare fleet, creative, evidence, lead time and price. Book directly — there is no commission on direct enquiries.
